INTRODUCTION
The Institution Maguni Charan Balashram situated at Mathani, Basta, Balasore. The Institution established on 1976. The land of the Balashram donated by Late Sj. Maguni Charan Mohapatra, the donor donate the land on the name of B.D.O, Basta. The institution formed to take care Orphans, Surrender, distress, missing children of Balasore district on the name of land donor Sj. Maguni Charan Mohapatra. From the year 2008 the Balashram get government accommodation for 150 inmates.
LIBRARY
One library is available in the organisation campus. The text books , story books, newspapers, GK books and magazines etc. of local language are available in the library. The inmates of the organisation are availing the library facilities in free of cost.
HEALTH CAMPAIGN: –
MBBS Doctor was invited in our CCI to attend health program to give some tips about sanitization and hygiene. There was group discussion on Health, hygiene and cleanliness among the inmates and staffs of CCI.
PLANTATION ACTIVITY: –
Our Organisation has planted 10-20 plant in nearest road side , in CCI campus and outside of campus. Its aimed to make our environment green, the true meaning of life is to plant trees with this believe system.
SWACHHATA HI SEVA-CAMPAIGN ORGANISATION BY THE CCI: –
Our CCI organized “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign by the inmates to maintain good sanitisation and hygiene around us. It organized various activities i.e. health and wellness talks, competitive events like drawing, writing on health and hygiene etc. for sanitizing the inmates of the CCI.
